Inspire Therapeutic Services
Providing Nature Based Therapy
At Inspire Therapeutic Services, we offer a range of nature-based therapy sessions tailored to your needs.
Our specialist team is on hand to provide therapy, mentoring and workshops for individual clients, families and groups.
Our team has over 80 years of combined experience in therapeutic support services.
This includes working with clients with ADHD, autism and special educational needs.
We also work closely with fostering families to help the needs of fostered and adopted children.
Our services
Therapy
We provide therapy sessions for children, young people and adults.
Primarily, our therapy sessions are nature-based, but online sessions can be scheduled depending on the client’s needs.
Our integrative therapy approach draws upon a combination of theoretical approaches towards therapy. This allows us to adapt to the unique needs of the individual.
Equine
At Inspire Therapeutic Services, we have a (non-riden) horse therapy herd ready to provide support to clients who may struggle with standardised therapy.
Horses can mirror our own behaviours and emotions to us. Through mindfulness techniques with horses, we can learn more about ourselves and how we relate to others.
This can be particularly valuable for clients with nervous system dysregulation, including autism/ADHD, trauma and attachment difficulties.
Our practitioners are qualified to provide EFL (Equine Facilitated Learning) with a variety of approaches, including therapy and coaching.
Mentoring
Our mentoring services are an alternative approach to therapy for individuals who require more directive emotional support.
Our mentoring programme has helped young children and the families of young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, particularly involving education.
Whilst this is not therapy, it provides a safe place for young people to be heard and work through their problems.
